Miranda's Portfolio

Freelance Videographer. Creative Writer. Development Editor.

Miranda is studying at the University of Central Florida pursuing a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts in Film Production. She enjoys storytelling, using both visual arts and writing as a platform for educational, marketing, promotional, and outreach purposes. Miranda has produced several promotional videos for organizations including: LSF Health Systems, Sunshine From Darkness, Compeer, Central Florida Behavioral Health Network, Sarasota Military Academy and the St. Francis Animal Rescue.

Her proudest achievements include: becoming a student member of the National League of Pen Women, the 2020 Outstanding Creative Writing Award for fiction at State College of Florida, placing 6th in honorable mentions in Ringling’s 2020 national Annual Storytellers of Tomorrow high school writing contest with 500+ entries, and being selected as a finalist for the George S. and Stella M. Knight essay contest of 2021 Saramana Chapter.

Miranda's goal is to become a triple threat: editor, author, and videographer. She believes that storytelling is a “cathartic experience that can turn a bad experience on its head”. It is “what you make of it”.
